RLR Mapping

The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) use the Rural Land Register (RLR) to hold digital maps of all registered land parcels for use with in the schemes. All land must be registered on the RLR in order to be eligible for payments through the Single Payment Scheme (SPS) or the Environmental Stewardship Scheme (ES).

HarveyHughes is able to advise you on all mapping issues to register land and to make changes to boundaries and ineligible features in registered land. We have the expertise and skills to work with you and the maps of your farm to produce the professionally drawn maps that are required when corresponding with the RLR.

Currently the RLR are undertaking a mapping update. This is to update the maps that are used to the current Ordnance Survey MasterMap layer (2008).

We will then use the new data to produce updated maps for all farmers.

The packs will be sent to all 120,000 claimants (farmers) who have an obligation to respond to the RPA within 28 days, regardless of whether the maps are correct or not. As these maps are relied upon for most dealings in the schemes it is important that these are corrected if there are any problems.

Please feel free to call us today if you would like to know more about the update, or would like assistance in checking and amending your maps.
